Zechariah Troupe

February 5, 2007 — February 13, 2025

Tallahassee

Zechariah Lu’Tyler Troupe, born in Tallahassee, FL, was the cherished son of Tekealla Laverne Booker and Keith Anthony Adams Sr. Zechariah was a bright light in the lives of everyone. He brought laughter, love, and an unshakable sense of loyalty to those he held dear. Those who knew Zechariah will remember his compassion, kindness, and genuine concern for others. He was always there with a listening ear, a helping hand, and a caring heart. Zechariah was the person you could count on to bring a smile to your face, whether through his jokes, his thoughtful words, or simply his warm presence. His love for his siblings, mother, and family was beyond measure. He was his brothers and sisters keeper, protector, and greatest supporter. He adored his mother, she was his heart, strength, and greatest love. Zechariah was passionate about music, playing drums with the FAMU DRS band, where his energy and enthusiasm lit up every performance. Music resonated deeply within him, bringing joy to all who heard him perform vocally. Alongside this love, Zechariah enjoyed cooking and would whip up unique dishes. Zechariah had a deep relationship with God and grew up attending meetings at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, where he shared heartfelt comments. His faith and connection to his beliefs were an important part of who he was. We hold onto the great times we had together and look forward to the day we will see him again in the resurrection as Acts 24:15 states, “I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous”. He is survived by his mother Tekealla Booker (Shane Booker) and father Keith Adams Sr., siblings George “Quad” Sanders IV (C. Monique Sanders), Briana Adams, Keymon Adams, Keith “KJ” Adams ( Kathryn Adams), Kai Adams, Geordan Adams, Jaylan Adams, Zoree Alexis, Jierah Booker, and Winsday Adams. He is also mourned by his extended family, including his aunts and uncles, Kimberly Adams, Keneth Adams, Kristanya Henson, Tiffanie Troupe, Sabrina Troupe, Ryan Harris, Garrett Proctor, Fred McKinny, Tameka Troupe, and many others. His nephews Mazi Adams, George “Quint” Sanders V, and Carter Sanders also carry his memory with love and pride. He is preceded in death by his beloved maternal grandparents Mary and Willie Troupe and paternal grandparents Gerald and Louise Adams, and his dear cousin Kashif “KP” Pompey. As we remember Zechariah, we celebrate the precious moments we shared with him and the joy he brought into our lives. His memory will continue to inspire us to live with love, kindness, and laughter, just as he did. We are grateful for the time we had with him and his memory will forever be in the hearts of those whom he knew.
