Tyrone Deangelo Kelly was born on October 19, 1988, and entered eternal rest on June 7, 2026.
Tyrone was affectionately known as a gentle giant. Standing 6'4", he was known for his affectionate smile, his wide arms, and the gentle way he embraced those he loved. He had a humble and mannerable spirit and showed respect to everyone he encountered throughout his life.
Tyrone was a loving husband, father, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. He loved his family with his whole heart and would have given his last with a big smile in return. He will be deeply missed, and though our hearts ache, we take comfort in knowing that we will see our loved one again.
Tyrone was born to Tom Kelly Jr. and LaShunda Glenn, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom Sr. and Odetha Bradham Kelly, Roscoe and Mary Jeanette Hill, and Joseph Glenn Sr.; and his aunt, Robin Hollis.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Latoya Kelly; his first and only daughter, Tyesha Kelly; his sons, Khalik Harrison, Aiden Tucker, Christian Huggins, Talib Kelly, and Hakeem Kelly; his siblings, Iesha Pompey, Tishona Pompey, Quoneria Davis, and Iondra Glenn; his uncles, Kevin Kelly (Cindy), who raised Tyrone as their own, Michael Bradham (Carolyn), Joseph Glenn, who cared for Tyrone like a son, Jerry Glenn, and Terry Smith; his aunts, Carol Kelly-Brown (Marshall), Cathee Kelly-Denson (Reginald), Chandra Kelly-Walker (Timothy), Cathy Smith, and Dorothy Geathers; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives, and dear friends.
Tyrone also had a passion for photography and music. His love for music began in childhood, following in the footsteps of his granddad, Mr. Tom. Granddad Tom would purchase musical instruments for all of his grandchildren every Christmas so they could play music and dance away.
Tyrone carried that legacy throughout his adult life. In the music industry, he was known as T Rone. His catalog is labeled Rone Musiq, and his music can be streamed on Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube.
Tyrone’s life, love, and legacy will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
