Lord, in your mercy, bring to your place of peace and light, the soul of your servant Margaret, whom you have summoned from this world.

Margaret Gail Martin (Tugie), 71, passed away unexpectedly on the 6th of April 2026. Born on January 17, 1955 in Springfield, Massachusetts, she was the 5th child born to Stephen and Margaret.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Ina Facemire (Jefts) and Herbert Facemire of Mt. Sunapee, New Hampshire, paternal grandparents Mary and Joseph Tugie, both of Budapest, Hungary. Her parents Stephen T. Tugie from South Bend, Indiana and Margaret F. Tugie (Williams) from Ludlow, Vermont. An older brother Robert S Tugie, a sister Nancy L. Signor (Tugie) and a beloved grandson Dylan Hernandez.

She is survived by her precious and cherished children Melissa Brazier-Passmore and husband John, Laura Belanger and husband Michael, Carrie Wortwick and husband Logan, and David Brazier and girlfriend Jessica. She also leaves behind a close sister Joann Tucker (Tugie) of Massachusetts and a brother William. She also leaves behind grandchildren Alex, Ashleigh, Jake, and Evan Hernandez of Tallahassee, Austin Brazier and Samantha Brazier of Ft Stewart, great grandchildren Cayde and Levi Brazier of Ft Stewart, Abigail Jackson of W. Virginia, and Gracie, Connor, and Maddalyn Brazier of North Carolina as well as their mom Brenna, as well as many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.

Margaret had a green thumb and enjoyed her plants, doing crafts with her children and grandchildren, and shopping with her daughters.

Services will be held at the families discretion. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Shands Hospital in her name.
