Lula Mae Ward was born on August 22, 1933, in Camilla, Georgia, to the late Willie and Larcene Robinson. On December 20, 2025, she transitioned peacefully at Eden Springs, surrounded by her loving family.
At an early age, Mother Ward accepted Christ and joined Oakgrove Missionary Baptist Church in Camilla, Georgia. She later united with Mt. Sinai Prayer Temple in Tallahassee, where she remained a faithful and devoted member throughout her life.
Though her formal education was limited, Mother Ward was rich in spiritual wisdom. Her unwavering faith, meek spirit, and love for God were evident in how she lived and how she inspired generations who followed her example.
Mother Ward dedicated over ten years of service as a compassionate Home Health Aide. Her gentle demeanor and caring heart left a lasting impression on every patient entrusted to her care.
She was preceded in death by her children Martha Davis, Eddie Lee Ward, Johnnie Lee Ward, Jr., Alfred Lee Ward, and Gregory Ward.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children Lucille Ward Jones, Peggy (Lawrence) McMillon, and Kathy Farmer; her sister Tennie Jackson; her brother James Mack Robinson; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, relatives, and friends.
