Kaleb Keith
Edouard
Apr 28, 2009 — Jul 13, 2026
Tallahassee
Kaleb Keith Edouard was born on April 28, 2009, to Terra S. Edouard and Samuel Edouard. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, teammate, and friend whose kind and positive spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Kaleb attended Vow Now Academy and Godby High School. He was preparing to enter his senior year as a proud member of the Class of 2027. Kaleb loved sports, especially basketball and football. His passion for basketball allowed him to play with several teams, including Legacy All Stars, Xtreme Pressure, Ballers Elite, Twin City Elite, and the Godby High School basketball team. He was also involved with the Boys & Girls Club.
Kaleb was known for his kindness, fearless spirit, positive attitude, and ability to see the good in everyone. He loved people genuinely and treated others with compassion and respect. His easygoing personality could be heard in one of his favorite sayings: “Chill—don’t sweat the small stuff.” His favorite color was red.
Kaleb shared special friendships with TJ, Monte, Robert, Josh, KJ, Zaylen, AJ, Terelle, and Kam. He was blessed to receive encouragement and guidance from his mentor, Mrs. Shavonda of the Boys & Girls Club, and from several dedicated coaches, including Coach Knight of Ballers Elite, Coach Marvin, Coach Treal of Twin City Elite, and Coach Jones of Xtreme Pressure.
Kaleb was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Jeraldine Reeves; his paternal grandmother, Mireille Colon; and his paternal grandfather, Alexis Edouard.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory his parents, Terra S. Edouard and Samuel Edouard; his siblings, Areonia Smith, Asia Edouard, Katia Edouard, Kamille Edouard, Zarina Edouard, Jamari Edouard, and Amarion Edouard; and his maternal grandparents, Robert Terelle Smith, Pamela Simmons, and Gerald Simmons.
Kaleb also leaves his maternal aunts, Lateisha Addison, Tierra Delaine, Toni Smith, and Tameika Delaine; his maternal uncle, Jerelle Smith; his paternal aunts, Maggy Edouard, Peggy Edouard, Carline Edouard, Jessica Edouard, Miriam Edouard, and Naomi Edouard; and his paternal uncles, Jerry Edouard, Moyse Edouard, Daniel Edouard, and Alma Edouard. He also leaves a host of cousins, extended family members, teammates, classmates, coaches, mentors, and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Kaleb’s love for basketball and his unforgettable spirit are beautifully captured in this special message:
“When my time comes, lace up my sneakers—we’re running the court on the golden-paved courts upstairs.”
